Food at Camp: How We Serve Healthy, Kid-friendly Meals with a Spanish Twist

Table of Contents

Parents often wonder: “Will my child eat well at the camp?” Short answer: yes. We balance familiar, kid-friendly meals with subtle introductions to Spanish flavors so that children feel comfortable and curious.

Kid-friendly bases with regional additions

We always start with trusted favorites and add small Spanish elements to meals. Even though our menu is planned for picky eaters, it is based on a mediterranean diet. This comforts children while letting them know Spanish gastronomy at the same time. For example, a dinner could be made of chicken soup and Spanish tortilla with side-salad as the main dish, finishing with yogurt for dessert.

Health and nutrition come first

Meals are planned by specialized staff on nutrition in order to keep energy steady for active days and have a balanced diet. Our kitchen team uses local produce and serves portions that count with proteins, complex carbs, vegetables, fruits and healthy snacks. Moreover, children are supervised by counselors so that they stay hydrated during hot summer days

5-times-a-day Meals

Our camp offers 5 meals each day: breakfast, an appetizer in the morning, lunch, snack time in the afternoon and finally, dinner. This allows us to make sure children recover energy and can enjoy the whole day of this amazing experience.

Allergies, preferences and religious diets handled carefully

We collect dietary information in advance and our kitchen staff studies it carefully to create safe options. This way, we offer individual meal plans for allergies and intolerances. Moreover, vegetarian and culturally appropriate options are available at our kitchen, always notified in advance.

More specific?
